i'm taking a surf trip to costa rica. it's just been decided.

i'll be like that guy...except on a board about 2 feet longer...and not turning as much.

dedicated to the one and only: nutcake

nutcake is one of my oldest friends. friends since summer of 1992. amazing.

it was only last august that she sent out a link to this youtube classic, aka "boom goes the dynamite":



after we informed her that we had all seen it years ago, she wrote: "REALLY? have ALL of you guys seen this already??"

she recently sent out something else that had been making the rounds, which prompted someone to send out this link in response. basically a list of a ton of internet phenomenons.

ANYWAYS, yesterday nutcake wrote on twitter, "i hate facebook." which i think she is on the upwards trend for. especially as an early adopter of twitter. kudos nutcake!

i think i'm in the same boat. my obsession with facebook, much like my obsession with friendster and myspace before it, is on the serious wane. it's overwhelming. plus, unlike friendster and myspace, moms are joining facebook in droves (including moms like my mom and my sister)--btw: if you wanna be facebook friends with my mom, then go ahead and friend her, she's online.

i'm going to be slowly transitioning to twitter, but still blog.
